All the kilts have super adjustable waistband with Velcro closure.The 0 - 6 months kilt is the starter of the Trewscots range. It truly will fit a large size range because of the waistband adjustment. In practical terms the kilt can go on the outside of an outfit en route to the party then when indoors with the jump suit removed the kilt will still fit. There are no buckles for tiny fingers to tangle with.

Here is the perfect example of the advantages of a velcro closure on the Trewscot kilt.
Baby Isla wears a baby grow as she's going for a hurl in the pram. When she is inside again in grandmas warm front room the kilt can be refitted to the t-shirt that is underneath the baby grow. The waistband of the kilt will accommodate the reduced size.

Baby heads are proportionately larger compared to adults (all you Mums are nodding at that..!!)
The Trewscots ghillie shirt neck is enlarged to cope with this. You may see fit to roll up the sleeves in the early wearings. The lace neck closure is dyed leather..... don't wash it with the shirt.
Shirts are now available in black; there's no wee baby picture yet but you will see them in the other age sections throughout the web site. We are looking for photos.... hint, hint.

We've searched high(lands) and low(lands) and commissioned samples without success, hence our first non-Jock product. (Help-ma-boab! said Ina!!)
The Saltire and Brogue shoes - pre-walkers really - are UK made. Tartaneering HQ has approved the quality and have asked for two sizes for now. Here they are: baby shoe sizes Zero to two and two to three and a half. That equates to ages newborn to twelve to fifteen months.

Here is the black shirt package modelled by wee Hamish, sitting on top of the tumshie.
Due to the cost of the black fabric the shirt is two pounds dearer than the white shirt. It must be the cost of the dye !
